Vegan Dumpster Chili Bitches! And Towels...

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I just made some mighty fine chili from dumpster finds: TVP, vermicelli, tomato sauce (always plentiful), kidney beans, in a dumptered Emeril pot, stirred with a dumpstered Emeril utensil. In a dumpstered Tae Kwon Do t shirt and organic cotton leggings. The onions I bought and the seasonings were both gifted and bought. The soy sauce: pretty inspired addition! I am not vegan, I'm kind of anti Vegan in terms of health, but it can be inexpensive to go the meatless route....

Also: Found just in time!!! Its embarassing going to Bikram with towels that have oil paint on em!

  1. Against being a vegan healthwise?

But what about all the non-therapeutic antibiotics and steriods and nastyness in almost all factory farmed animals that Americans love to eat? Healthy I think not, the last time you were healthy and went to the doctor, they did not give you antibiotics just because.

Who knows what this will mean for our entire population in 30, 40, or 50 years. And not just because of the consumption of all these beefed up cows and chickens, also because every human and every cow excretes. Meat eaters and cows are excreting tons of unneccesary and possibly very dangerous amounts of chemicals into the water supply!

Now, don't get me wrong... I ate a bacon cheeseburger on my half birthday last September, and this March for my birthday I plan on eating bacon and and a steak.

Meatless CAN be cheap, and can be rather healthy!

  2. ...sigh.

How about B 12 from a natural source??? This isnt a health blog, but having worked in the food industry and wellness industry for years, I have opinions and I am not here to judge anyone for what they eat or don't. Would you not have responded if I wrote "for MY health reasons?" I feel you missed the point of awesomeness from things people discarded!
